Following Crazy: My Bad!

Got kinda busy doing nothing, avoiding every thing and being lazy. Kinda. The kids and i finished our Mosaic clock. Sad. Its nice i guess but its not nice enough to post a picture. We had tons of fun putting it together and it was a two day project so the kids really enjoyed seeing it come together. For that it was worth it. However the reason the kit was on sale was because it was a broken piece of..... Why do they make kits and have specific directions but when the direction says to put this in there why doesnt it fit? Grrrr! So they were very sad it didnt work, batteries or not. Bummer! On that one we will just have to bank the fun and the memories of doing it together.
I am also still working on my mothers blanket. I am not sure it will ever be done or at least that is how it feels. I love to crochet because it goes so quickly, i can see it forming. But not this time. Hmm what to do about that?
Today we spent most of the day at the park. I have a couple friends leaving Alaska so i had to go say goodbye! While at the park we grilled out, i made a scavenger hunt for the kids. The older kids got the longer written list and the little ones got the smaller picture lists. Both groups loved it. They were determined to find every thing on that list. It was so much fun. However i am sure that due to all that playing my son is so exhausted he is probably going to pee the bed tonight - gross! Its nights like tonight its almost a guarantee no matter how many times i get him up to go. So we shall see. lol! I hope they sleep in.
IDK what we will do tomorrow but my daughter asked me four different times in four different ways if we could do tomorrow what we did today. lol! She's cute!
So that's my story and im sticking to it!
Oh wait, the husband says he wants to go to Denali for a road trip. I am psyched!!!! Problem is our timing of our trip and my desire for more more more. Ill keep you posted.
Alrighty well i will attach a pic of today's festivities and i will attach the scavenger hunts in case you want them. With both hunts i folded the paper in half and put it in a brown paper bag with two baggies. YAY!
