Thankful Day

Today was just a regular day. Nothing new or special or any thing out of the ordinary. We usually go to town on Saturdays as we did today and buy a bunch of 'crap' we dont need but enjoy holding, ooing over and relish for the day. lol! Its one of those days where i let my kids pick out tons of candy (really it was barely over a pound) at the candy store and eat almost all of it through out the day. We had some fast food for dinner, the kids got new sticker books and i got some stuff to make a wreath and a couple other secret crafts that are gifts so shhh i cant tell you what they are yet. lol! Oh and of course we had to pick up toilet paper, let me tell you! Phewww, ha ha ha.
Today was the first time Brenna wore some fake hair, a pony tail to be exact. She ran and jumped and shook her head and acted like a normal kid and it stayed on and looked fab all day. She is beautiful with her own hair but i love to play dress up all the time so im glad she was game for it too. She did great!
Ceddy worked with his daddy on saying his name properly. He has been in an urgent mind set about properly pronouncing things and expecting great verbal reward for doing it correctly. Its awesome!! He seems to be the only one through growing at the proper rate. Brenna is getting older by the minute, developing like crazy and her brain is ever questioning every thing. Alyviah is just a little weed sprouting daily. I swear she grows every night. I wake up and look at her and beg her not to stretch!! ha ha ha but my Ceddy is the only one that is just going about his day and occasionally growing and changing. :)
Alyviah is doing fantastic. Today she got up on all fours but not to try to crawl but to poop. Which is funny since she hasnt connected the dots on that yet. lol! I told my husband the sooner she crawls the sooner she falls down the stairs. I hope she's ready! ha ha ha Funny right? lol!
My husband works his butt off! If its not one thing with his job its another. He works day in and day out. Just does what they say and what he is suppose to do. We had an incident recently that is maybe preventing him from testing for his next rank and its so sad. Its his own fault but its one of those situations where you want to scream at some one to throw him a bone! Before you ask no he didnt do any thing to get into trouble, its a long story. So hopefully some one helps him out and allows him to test. He deserves it for more than one reason. I am so thankful for him.
Today like i said a normal day. But i sat here thinking about what to write. As i am trying to get better again and back in routine with blogging. All i could think about was how very lucky my family is. I dont say this to brag or to jinx us but with sobering humbleness (if those are words) in my heart. There is so much that i am able to do for my children, so much we dont have to worry about. Between having money to blow and great health we are doing so great. If i had it my way i would take all the kids in the world and treat them to a day that my kids had today. BUT, my husband is a sour puss and wouldnt let me and he also doesnt make enough money to support all the kids in the world. I think about those in Haiti and in Chile. My heart goes out to those families. No matter how much i donate i never feel like its enough. I am just thankful! It was such a great day. It helps to the sun was shining. It was freezing cold but the sun was stunning. The kids and i needed today! Thank you!!
The pic above is of Alyviah - really how can you not just want to squeeze the love out of any baby covered in food? (pees to be specific) ENJOY and as always thanks for reading!!
