This year we had tons of great ideas but kids will be kids and never make up their minds until the last minute. So last night i was up until 4am working on costumes for my two little spiders. It was super simple to make and half of the work is no sew which is great. The masks are just regular masks you get at a crafting story with googly eyes glued on them. The kids did their own masks so their costumes this year were worn with real pride since they took part in making them.
I also made 'back pack and map' off Dora the Explorer, that is who i was going to be and Alyviah has a monkey costume so she could be my boots the monkey. Well of course all hell broke loose and i couldnt find my bob wig and of course no one in this frozen hell of a town was selling that style either. sad. So that fell through but the kids are loving the back pack. An how i dont have any pics of Lyv yet but when i do i will post them as well. Gosh can you believe i had time to sew???? It felt great and i need to find a way for it more often. It was like therapy!
