Seven years ago i started trying to grow veggies. 7 years! This year finally i have two little tomatoes growing. They are small, they are green and im sure at any time any thing could go wrong but for right now they are tomatoes and i grew them. lol!
Now this pumpkin and there is only one so far is also very very tiny and hidden beneath a flower bud. But it too is mine. This plant and i have been fighting since it started growing, it keeps trying to die and i keep making it live. Very suicidal in deed. But i have a pumpkin growing as well.
Well up here our summers are short and i already know we are on our last leg (4 weeks or so) of summer before our nights start getting to chilly for little baby tomatoes and pumpkins to be outside after dark. Hopefully i can bring them in and continue to nurse them into plump ripe red tomatoes and big fat yellow pumpkins. Yes they will be eaten and cut into but still, like i said they are all mind. lol!
