Crochet Time!

Lately i have been all over the Internet looking up crochet tutorials, patterns and really teaching my self how to do and understand all of this. It is taking forever and i dont feel like i am learning lots so im perfecting what little i do know. I have a few projects im working on, some of those are for Christmas presents. Yes i know Christmas already, but listen im going to be a mommy of three pretty soon. I have no idea if im going to have enough time in my day to stop and use the bathroom, i may have to rent a catheter. lol!
Any how here is a sneak peek at some thing i finished tonight. I am super proud, my own pattern, my own technique. Lots of crocheting going on. Oh i also taught Brenna how to chain and how to single crochet into that chain, she is oober excited and is having a hard time putting it down. She loves to chain up a big long rope then hand it to her brother, he of course says "Brenna made me a snake" so we have tons of 'snakes' all over our house. lol! Super cute and super wasteful! lol!
Its been raining here, here and there. I wish it would just poor then get on with the sunshine or some thing. The construction work that is going on a few feet from my house is making me crazy. Our house shakes most of the day, we hear the machines from 630am to 10pm at night; im burnt out. What is even more sad is that we have the jets flying this week and usually its a treat to hear them take off and land (the sound of freedom we call it). But with the construction going on side by side with jet noise i could rip my hair out for ten minutes of peace and quiet. lol! *woosaaaa, rubbing my temples*
Talk to my dear sweet husband today. Such a funny man. His concept of time and how he keeps track of it makes so much sense to him but to me i just shake my head. lol! He always finds a way to make his time seem shorter than it is and like he will be home in a couple of weeks. I think its great for him if that works but for me it isnt a proper concept of time so i have to catch my self before i tell him - your insane you have at least ten weeks left, not one month and a few days and yes you have to count August. ha ha ha Special! I miss him dearly. I miss him so very much.
Well again im off for bed. We are going to the Farmers Market tomorrow morning. The kids love to pick out veggies. Hopefully this year we get there early enough in the season to enjoy some fruit. Last August we were too late, so im hoping they had good crops and are shelling them out now! Ill let you know how that goes. If its not raining, or threatening to rain i might bring my camera.
