I have been wanting to make my own purse. But i am terrified that my sewing skills and knowledge all self taught and nieve are only enough to leave me dissapointed with the results. So just to get the taste out of my mouth i decided to chrochet a purse, not what i had in mind but thought it might work. Well it didnt, i want a really nice big chunky diaper bag for this new baby and really i want it now. I dont want to buy it, i want to make it. But i hold my self back, i just feel i have so much more to learn before i go trotting off into purse land. You see i love and collect Dooney and Burke purses, how do i go from that to making and carrying my own? lol! Any how when ever i get the answer or make the purse ill let you know. *wink* Until then here is my miniature version of a purse that my son has stuffed with tissues and was carrying to wipe his nose with today. Poor baby.
